How do I replace a Philips 50W indoor flood light?

Okay, I know that asking for advice on how to change a light bulb probably sounds a little stupid, but I’m at my wit’s end, and I just don’t know what else to do. The dining room in our apartment is equipped with track lighting. The ceiling-mounted fixture accommodates 3 bulbs. The bulb is a Philips 120 volt, 50 watt indoor flood light. Two of the bulbs are burned out, and I need to replace them, but the old bulbs just will not come out of the fixture. I can’t pull the old bulbs out, and there doesn’t seem to be any kind of release mechanism. How do I get the old bulbs out?
