Has anyone spray painted a CFL (Compact Fluorescent light bulb) the flood light style. These generate little heat and was wondering if anyone has done this with success?

Looking to get a color which isnt the basic red,green or blue.

      i put clear tape on which yellowed & dried but didnt burn & left a coating. i was trying to curb the glare

      For outside bug lights it doesnt turn out.
      The color you desire no big loss if it doesnt turn out.
